Buckshot Mold

So today instead of reviewing a newer model, I am going to review the Buckshot Mold.

The original Buckshot mold was introduced in 1985, with Buckshot a gray and black horse. Then there was the Spanish Barn. In 1988-1989. Then Cody a dark bay pinto was released in 1995 along with Hickok a blue roan pinto.

The Dun Mustang was released in 2000 and lasted until 2001.
The newest horse in that mold is Rascal, who lasted 2009-2010. He is a palomino and is the newest horse in that mold. But the Buckshot Mold could be considered a vintage mold, since it did start in 1985.
In my opinion that mold is adorable.

Cedric and Nokota

So in this post I will be reviewing Cedric and Nokota so let’s begin!

Cedric: Cedric is in the Show Jumping Warmblood, and he is a flea bitten gray. He was released in 2010. He comes on stand, and he cannot stand without it. Cedric has a really cute nose though and I adore it! He’s literally floating in mid air without it. He is a bit pricey though and hard to find.

Nokota: The Nokota mold is probably one of the most exciting molds, and has the real Nokota in it. She can be standing or rear. She was released in 2007. She is a blue roan mare mustang and I adore her. She is very pricey sometimes and can be very hard to find. But she is a very fierce mare! Nokota was  actually in the running for the 2008 Celebration Horse at Breyerfest.

Lonesome Glory Mold

The Lonesome Glory Mold was introduced in 2000 and was actually introduced with the original Lonesome Glory horse. The original Lonesome Glory horse was chestnut, he lasted from 2000 to 2002.
Seattle Slew was the next horse in the Lonesome Glory Mold. Seattle Slew is actually a racehorse, he is bay and he came with a blanket of roses around his neck.
The next horse in that mold was Red Rum, and he was a red bay with no stockings.
Then there was Afleet Alex who was a chestnut and then there was the Akhal Teke.
Phar Lap was the next horse in that mold.
Finally they made Zenyatta in that mold! Zenyatta is a bay ex-racehorse and Breyer did an excellent job making her and I adore her so much!
Goin for Gold, who is to die for was released in 2004.

Breyer does typically use the Lonesome Glory mold for exclusive models, but I only named the ones that were open to the entire public. Before even the original Lonesome Glory was released they had a horse in the Lonesome Glory mold named Mosaic.

The Weather Girl horses not mold

The weather girls, (Sunny, Partly Cloudy, Thunderstorm, Rainbow.) There are more horses in this mold, but in this post I am only focusing on the weather girls. The weather girls are part of the treasure hunt.

Sunny: Sunny Weathergirl in some blogs I have read is described as the queen bee of the weather girl gang. That may be true because she is seen most often when you see pictures of the weather girls. All of the Weather Girls are Arabians. Sunny is a palomino Arabian.

Partly Cloudy: Partly Cloudy Weather girl is the gray and white Arabian weather girl, and I do prefer her out of all of them and even though I don’t really like the Weather Girls at all.

Thunderstorm: Thunderstorm Weather girl is the dark gray Arabian Weather Girl. I like her second to Partly Cloudy.

Rainbow: Rainbow Weather Girl is probably the least known out of all of the Weather Girls. She is translucent rainbow.

Sam and Snowman 2013 Midyear Releases?

So I picked two breyer horses from the 2013 and 2014 Midyear Releases to review in this post. So I picked Sam and Snowman.

Sam is in the Cigar mold and he is bay. But I think there are to many Bay’s in that mold. EXC: Cigar, Barbaro, Windsome Adante, and now Sam. But other than that, Sam he does loom good, really good when glossed. But there are to many bays. But I already have the Cigar Mold (Sato), but I don’t really prefer the Cigar mold over other molds, but I guess Sam is okay, but in my personal preference I would not buy him. But that is just my opinion.

Snowman! Snowman was the other breyer I picked, to review in this post, and I like him. Snowman is in the Idocus mold. The good thing, about Snowman in that mold, is because he is the only white horse in the Idocus mold. I have not personally seen Snowman though in real life, only on internet pictures. :(
